Where can I see a full Schedule of Events?

You may view a full Schedule of Events here. Printed copies will be available in the Visitors Center located downtown across from the Dahlonega Gold Museum after July 1.

Where can I get a map of Dahlonega?

Maps of Dahlonega and the 4th of July Celebration can be found at the Visitors Center located downtown across from the Dahlonega Gold Museum.

Where are the public restrooms located?

Public restrooms will be available in the Visitors Center, at Hancock Park, and the University of North Georgia Drill Field. Handicap facilities will be available at all restroom zones.

Am I allowed to bring a cooler to the fireworks?

Yes, you may bring a cooler. However, alcohol is strictly prohibited on the University of North Georgia campus.

How much are Adventure Zone tickets?

An all day access wristband for the Adventure Zone is $5. With a military ID, an all day access wristband to the Adventure Zone is $3.

How do I sign up for the Parade?

We are no longer accepting applications for the 4th of July Parade. We apologize for any inconvenience.

How do I register for the Firecracker 5K?

Registration for the Firecracker 5K is $30. Registration is $25 for adults and $20 for children 12 & under with military ID. If you have already pre-purchased an entry for the Firecracker 5K, please bring your military ID at registration to receive a refund for the difference. Online registration for the Firecracker 5K is now closed. Don’t worry! You can still register for the race in-person on the morning of July 4, 2017.

How do I sign up to be a vendor in the All American Market?

Many Dahlonega restaurants offer spectacular vistas of our natural assets and bustling downtown. Soak up the sun on dining patios while listening to local musicians and indulging in incredible food and drinks. Several restaurants offer pet-friendly patios to accommodate your furry friends as well!

How can I donate to the 4th of July Fireworks Fund?

Dahlonega’s 4th of July Celebration is an exciting community event, but it takes a lot to pull it off! Unlike most communities, the day’s festivities and fireworks are not funded by tax dollars, but through sponsorships and donations from people like yourself.
